Lee Holcomb, David Adams, Jeff "Doc" Watson, Jan Depner, Don Winters
3Sigma was founded in the Spring of 2011 from
the remnants of a few bands based in the Picayune MS
area; the Boley Creek Band, I-59, and Riverside.
All of the members of the band had, at one time or another,
been in one or more of those bands. David Adams
had been the lead singer in Boley Creek. Don
Winters and Jeff Cressione had been in Boley Creek
(the band, not the creek) for a while. Don
Winters, Lee Holcomb, and I were alumni of I-59.
Finally, Don Winters, Lee Holcomb, Jeff Cressione, and
I had all been in Riverside. All five of us were
trying to find the right combination of people that
would give us the sound we were looking for.
Fortunately, this is it. We have four
accomplished singers with Dave and Don being the lead
singers. Lee and I provide most of the harmony
vocals. Dave and Don can also sing harmonies
like nobody's business so we occasionally break out in
a four part harmony. Don and I provide lead
guitars while Dave handles rhythm with Lee on bass and
Jeff on drums. I also play the harmonica and a
Roland guitar synthesizer (so that's where
those horns came from). The following songs are covers
(all done live because if you can't do it live, why do
it). The copyrights belong to whoever wrote them.
They're all great bands so I suggest you go buy some
of their music (in whatever form you prefer).
