Phenyx Pro PTM-33-4B
Like many other bands, Razzoo has gone to in-ear
monitors only. We had all been using different in-ear
transmitter and receiver units but it got to be a
major PITA to stack all the separate units or jam them
in to rack trays in a rack mount. Having had so much
success with the Phenyx Pro PTU-6000-8H I figured
these would probably be fine. They run in the 900MHz
UHF range so they don't interfere with our mics. We've
had zero problems with this system. I've got it
stuffed into a 3U rack case. At $500 it costs you $120
per unit which is much better than most low-end units.
Our bass player uses a stand-alone in-ear system that
he has mounted in his bass rack. It's well worth the
cost.
